Sky Trapping and Sky observatory in Wisconsin
Campagna carried out a series of sky trapping expeditions in the Driftless region of southwestern Wisconsin. Sky collection traps were made from farm equipment and detritus found in the area. Traps were baited with balloons, Used Car Dealership pennant flags, Tibetan prayer flags, and old kites. See "Stacking, Setting and Baiting a Sky Cage Trap" for detailed, step-by-step instructions on setting and baiting a Sky Cage collection-trap.
Much of the field work carried out at the Wormfarm institute focused on the sky that moves over the driftless region of Wisconsin. In addition to attempting to make collections of the sky by adapting farm equipment and detritus into sky traps, Terrence also made sky observations from SOIAH (Sky Observation In A Hole). The observatory was open to all visitors and dwellers on the farm.
